Momstew Magazine #1 was a definite success and will be even moreso as more and more people get there hands on it (or computers rather)! I am not taking a break, but am brainstorming for the next issue. Until I can get more people involved on this project, I will be doing 4 issues a year-one per season. Next season will be the Spring issue-and that means Spring Cleaning! That is a huge issue in my household and I imagine it is a pretty big struggle in other creative households.
I am thinking of holding a contest, like a room redo contest. I'm not sure what the prizes will be yet, but I'd love to have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners! Please contact me if you are interested in participating, or if you have some ideas on this.
I am also looking for moms experienced in fashion for the spring issue. I am open to all, but right now I have an affinity for everything vintage. And I think Springtime is a great time to explore that. Contact me for any info you may have or that I may give you on that.
OK-that's it for now! Keep passing on that URL to the first issue!

Sneak Peaks!
Our first Momstew Post!

It's a busy week here at Momstew Magazine! Some sneak peaks will be available soon. If you haven't visited yet, please check out our myspace page: www.myspace.com/momstewmag
If you are a cafemom member, we also have a group called Momstew Magazine! We are still looking for articles about being a unique parent-many of us have gotten funny looks when we drop our children off at school...among other things...If you are interested in writing for Momstew, please let me know.
We especially would like moms and dads who would be interested in writing fashion columns, and need people from different cities of the country to review thrift stores in their neck of the woods.
At the top of the blog is a rough draft of the current cover-we are hoping to release the first online issue of the magazine at the end of October, beginning of November. Yes, you read that right, Pierre de Reeder of Rilo Kiley is interviewed in our very first issue!
Thanks for reading!
